Dr. Sterkel is the medical director of the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Pediatric Call Center and a member of the executive committee for the section on Telehealth Care for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Esse Health in 1997, Dr. Sterkel was Chief Resident of Pediatrics at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine.
